Irma Joyce Lohrenz, age 87, of Mt. Lake died on Oct. 26, 2020, at Good Samaritan Society-Sogge Memorialin Windom.
Private services will be held at the Sturm Funeral Home, Mt. Lake Chapel.
The clergy will be Pastor Galen Kauffman.
Interment will be at the Mt. Lake City Cemetery in Mt. Lake at a later date.
Arrangements are with the Sturm Funeral Home in Mt. Lake.

Irma Wohlford was born in Sleepy Eye to Wells and Esther (Jacobson) Wolford on Feb. 23, 1933. She attended and graduated from Sleepy Eye High School. Irma furthered her education at Mankato Teacher's College, graduating with a teaching degree.
She was united in marriage to Richard Lohrenz on June 11, 1954, in Sleepy Eye. They made their home in Mt. Lake, where they raised their family and Irma taught for 34 years in the Mt. Lake Elementary School.
Irma loved all crafts, including sewing, knitting, crocheting, photography and baking. She had a deep love for children (including countless foster kids). She also enjoyed camping and traveling around the country.
Left to cherish her memory are her son, Kent (Janet) Lohrenz, Sheldon, Iowa; grandchildren: Michael Jetter, Windom; Tina Brown, Cedar Falls, Iowa; Kayla Tesch, Hastings; Kacey Porter, Miesville; one brother, Calvin Wohlford, Madelia; sisters-in-law, Sandi (Bob) Roel, Joyce Lohrenz, Sandi Wohlford; 13 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Irma was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard; sons, Todd Lohrenz and Eric Lohrenz; daughter, Lori Puente; sister, Verna Krenz; brothers, Donny Wohlford and Curtis Wohlford.
