Jack Determan, 69, of Jeffers died June 17, 2020, at his home in Jeffers.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, June 24, at 1 p.m., at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Windom with Father Pratap officiating.
Special music will be provided by Amy McNamara, pianist; Mike Nelson, lector; and Julie Tully, vocal soloist, singing "Be not Afraid," "Amazing Grace," "On Eagles Wings" and "How Great Thou Art."
Special recorded musical selection will be "I am Going" by Randy Travis.
Ushers will be John and Pat Lenz.
Casket bearers will be Chad Anderson, Terry Pudenz, Terry Knoll, Mark Hentchen, Lance Holmen and Brandon Carter.
Honorary bearers will be Jack's grandchildren: Colton, Bladyn, Bode, Brekken, Coyer, Taylor, Landen, Nevaeh, Raven, Ezra and Tegan.
Military honors will be provided by Odegaard-Quade Post 401 of Jeffers outside the church following the service.
Interment will follow at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Cemetery in Windom.
Visitation was Tuesday, June 23, from 4 to 7 p.m., at LaCanne Family Funeral Home in Windom.

Jack Jude Determan was born on Sept. 25, 1950, in Carroll, Iowa to the late Lyle Frederick and Doris Margaret (Bernholtz) Determan. He was baptized at St. Bernard's in Breda, Iowa, and later confirmed at the St. Augustine's Catholic Church in Jeffers.
Jack received his early education at the Jeffers Elementary School in Jeffers and then graduated from Jeffers High School in the Class of 1968. He then furthered his education at Jackson Vocational School until being drafted into the United States Army in June of 1970.
He then served during the Vietnam War from 1971-1972 until being honorably discharged and returning to the Jeffers area.
On Aug. 31, 1970, Jack was united in marriage to Ruth Ann Maras at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Jeffers. This marriage was blessed with three children: Curt, Julie and Travis.
In 1972, Jack began working for Schwalbach Hardware in Windom until 1975 when he started Jack's Plumbing and Heating in Jeffers until 2010 when he completely retired.
Jack was a former member of the St. Augustine Catholic Church in Jeffers and a current member of the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Windom.
He had many enjoyments in life which included fishing, tinkering, building, measuring, vehicle restoration and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
On Wednesday evening, June 17, 2020, Jack passed away peacefully at his home in Jeffers surrounded by family and friends after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 69.
Jack is survived by his wife of 49 years, Ruth Ann Determan of Jeffers; three children: Curt (Amber) Determan of Jeffers; Julie (Mike) Tully of La Crescent; Travis (Sarah) Determan of Montgomery; honorary daughter, Heidi Hill of Windom; 11 grandchildren; one sister and two brothers: Connee (Craig) Thorstad of Alexandria, Kevin (Diane) Determan of Jeffers, David Determan of Jeffers, and several nieces and nephews.
Jack is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Diane (Dennis) Ossenfort.
