Kenneth C. Berry, 83, of Jeffers died Nov. 26, 2019, at his home in Jeffers.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday at 1 p.m., at LaCanne Family Funeral Home in Windom with Pastor Adam Roberts officiating.
Special music will be provided by Dustin Stevens, pianist.
Full military honors will be provided by Odegaard-Quade American Legion Post 401 of Jeffers.
Visitation will be held Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the funeral home in Windom.
LaCanne Family Funeral Service of Windom is handling the funeral arrangements.
Kenneth "Ken" C. Berry was born May 12, 1936, to Charles and Beryl (Schmotzer) Berry in Jeffers. He received his education in Jeffers Public Schools, graduating in 1954.
Ken enlisted in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Korea for some time before receiving his honorable discharge in 1958.
He returned to Jeffers and worked in the plumbing and construction businesses for several years.
In 1965, Ken married Jan in St. Paul. They were blessed with a son, Scott.
Ken worked for Albenson's Printing Company until the early 1980s, then worked as a delivery truck driver for Braun's Fashions in Eden Prairie until retiring in 2001. Ken and Jan then moved to Jeffers.
After Jan's death in 2011, Ken continued living in Jeffers.
Ken was a big NASCAR fan and enjoyed watching NHRA drag racing. He also enjoyed classic cars and collecting them, and was a big fan of the Denver Broncos.
Survivors include his son, Scott (Deb) Berry of Elk River; two grandchildren; and a sister, Cindy (Jerry) Tews of Hutchinson.
