Elton Wolf, 94, of Parkers Prairie, formerly of Wadena and Jeffers, died Nov. 19, 2019, at St. William's Living Center in Parkers Prairie.
Funeral services were Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Deer Creek with Rev. Donald Wagner officiating.
Music was provided by Darlene Wendt, organist.
Pallbearers were his grandsons: Douglas Reinke, David Reinke, Dennis Rein-ke, Tim Lammle, Darren Olson and Brent Olson.
Honorary pallbearers were his remaining grandchildren: Kyle Reinke, Pamela Payne, Susan Lammle, Lisa Wolf and Mary Ramirez.
Interment was at the church cemetery.
Lind Family Funeral Home of Parkers Prairie handled the funeral arrangments.
Elton George Wolf was born July 1, 1925, to George and Emma (Wendland) Wolf on the family farm in rural Jeffers. He grew up on the farm, attended country school and graduated from eighth grade.
Elton helped his father and others farm in the Jeffers area.
In 1945, Elton married Mildred Johnson at the Lutheran parsonage in Jeffers. They farmed in Jeffers until purchasing a farm in Wadena in 1978. Elton also worked at Tuffy's in Perham for 10 years.
In 2015, Elton and Millie moved to Willow Creek in Henning, where they lived for four years, and sold their farm in 2017. Earlier this year, they moved to Parkers Prairie.
Elton was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Deer Creek.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and visiting with friends.
He was preceded in death by an infant brother, Romey Wolf; a brother, Lloyd Wolf; sisters: Jerada (Ernie) Lenzen, Lavida Crawford and Verdella (Ed) Scharmann; and sons-in-law, Leon Olson and Darrold Reinke.
Survivors include his wife of 74 years, Millie; three daughters: Laura Reinke of Benson, Jurene (Jon) Lammle of Parkers Prairie and Vickie Olson of Grand Rapids; a son, Brian (Debra) Wolf of Arden Hills; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Gordon Wolf, and a brother-in-law, Walden Crawford, both of Reno, Nev.; and a sister-in-law, Wyona Wolf of Springfield.
