Charlene (Young) Wade, 69, of Sacramento, Calif., formerly of Windom, died Oct. 7, 2019, at her home after a battle with metastatic breast cancer.
A visitation service was held Sunday in Sacramento with a Celebration of Life service planned for a later date.

Charlene Marie Young was born July 16, 1950, to Charles and Betty Young in Sioux City, Iowa.
She graduated from Windom High School in 1968 and attended Buena Vista College in Storm Lake, Iowa.
Char worked as a dispatcher for Sacramento County (Calif.) for 17 years before retiring in 2006.
In addition to her parents, Charlie and Betty Young, Char was preceded in death by her husband, Ken Wade.
Survivors include her sons, Jeff (Leslie) Schelldorf of Roseville, Calif.; and James (Sheree) Schelldorf of Maineville, Ohio; three grandchildren; a brother and sister, Kevin (Denise) Young and Chris (Scot) Potter, all of Windom.
