Arnold Olson, 90, of Windom passed away on Friday, Aug. 30, 2019, at his residence in Windom.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Sept. 5, 2019, at 11 a.m., at the American Lutheran Church in Windom, with Pastor Adam Roberts officiating.
A visitation will take place on Thursday, Sept. 5, 2019, one hour prior to the funeral service.
Burial will take place at Lakeview Cemetery in Windom.

Arnold Wayne Olson, son of Emil and Elnora (Kaushagen) Olson was born March 22, 1929 in Windom.
He was confirmed at the American Lutheran Church on May 14, 1943, and is a current member of the church.
Arnold attended and graduated in 1947 from the Windom High School. After high school he attended one year of college at Augsburg.
Arnold was united in marriage to the love of his life, Delores (Vernone), on March 13, 1954, at the First Lutheran Church in St. James. They made their home in Windom and were blessed with five children.
Arnold was a Veteran in the United States Army and served in the Korean War.
Upon being discharged from the Army, he went to work for various local telephone companies for 37 years. Arnold officially retired in 1990.
Arnold passed away at his residence in Windom, surrounded by family on Friday, Aug. 30, 2019, at the age of 90 years, 5 months and 8 days.
Arnold was quite active in the community. He was a member of the American Legion, receiving an award for his 50 years of participation, a member of the Windom Golf Club for 30 years and was on the board of directors for the Windom Baseball Association.
In his down time, Arnold enjoyed putting jigsaw puzzles together, fishing, duck hunting, golfing and looked forward to his daily coffee groups. During the winter months Arnold and Delores spent their time at their home in Mission, Texas. Arnold enjoyed watching baseball on TV and spending time with his family.
Those people that got a chance to know Arnold were truly blessed and will miss his stories.
Arnold is survived by Delores, his wife of 65 years; sons, Lew Olson of Windom and Jeffrey Olson of Burnsville; daughters, Audrey (Gregg) Glidden of Crystal and Connie (Dean) Lanson of Dennison; 10 grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
Arnold is preceded in death by his parents; his son, Jay Olson; brothers, Everett and Harold Olson; and sisters, Minora Wedge and Janice Schottle.
