Brenda Sue Hampson, 45, of Dallas, Texas, formerly of Windom, died Aug. 15, 2019, in Dallas.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, Sept. 14, at 2 p.m., at American Lutheran Church in Windom.
Brenda Sue was born Oct. 22, 1973, to Bernice Lynn Fife and William Franklin Heern in Windom.
She graduated from Jackson High School in 1992. She graduated from the University of Phoenix in 2010 with a bachelor's degree in accounting, then earned her MBA from the University of Phoenix in 2012.
In 2009, Brenda married Brad Hampson after being together for nearly nine years.
Brenda's last job was working as a staff accountant for Fleetpride, which she began in April 2016.
Brenda enjoyed baking and will be remembered for her baked goods (Brenda's Kitchen). She also enjoyed accounting, and business in general. She especially enjoyed watching her favorite team, the Minnesota Twins.
She will be remembered as a good listener, for always being willing to help those in need and being passionate about saving pets from rescue centers.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents: John and Dorothy Heern; and Martin Meyer.
Survivors include her husband, Bradley Hampson; parents, Bernice (Terry) Fife and William (Janice) Heern; siblings: Jamie Anderson and Jason Heern; grandmother, Geraldine (Lloyd) Senne; and pet cats, Bengals and Ashes; and dog, Cowboy.
