Bonnie Mae Freking, 64, of Windom died June 9, 2019, at Sanford Medical Center in Sioux Falls.
A Celebration of Life service was Tuesday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Windom with Father Pratap officiating.
Special music was provided by Colleen Ortmann, organist; and Nadine Forman, vocalist.
Casket bearers were Kevin Freking, Alex Reese, Frank Kerkvliet, Ted Winters, Will Broers and Jason Heern.
Interment was at Lake-view Cemetery in Windom.
Bonnie Mae Acton was born Nov. 3, 1954, to Vernon and Lois (Wilken) Acton in Windom. She received her education in Windom Public Schools, graduating in 1973. She was baptized and later confirmed at American Lutheran Church in Windom.
In 1992, Bonnie married Dennis Freking at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Heron Lake. They lived in rural Heron Lake before Bonnie later moved to Windom.
Bonnie worked as an assembler at The Toro Company in Windom for 37 years until retiring in 2012.
In retirement, she continued living in Windom, where she was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.
Bonnie will be remembered for always having a smile on her face.
She enjoyed playing games on her tablet, watching TV, fill-in books, tractor pulls and spending time with her cat, "Honey."
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Freking; and a brother, Richard Acton.
Survivors include her son, Kevin (Heather) Freking of Windom; Heather's children, Sam and Jenny of Windom; one grandson; and a brother, Robert Acton of Worthington.
