Larry Ervin Polzin was born Oct. 19, 1946, to Carl F. and Marie (Fuenffinger) Polzin. Except for a brief time at Sunset Cottage in Worthington, Larry lived his entire life on the family farm near Jeffers.
He was baptized in the Catholic faith as a newborn and as an adult became a member of Jeffers Baptist Church, where he accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior and chose to be baptized of free will.
Larry enjoyed his horses, mules, dancing and playing drums and also loved to visit. He was known as "Uncle Larry" to many family members and friends, and "Unkie" to his nephew and niece, Robert Polzin and Kiki (Mike) Hubert, and the Huberts' sons, Otto and Oliver.
He was preceded in death by his brothers: Fremont, Delbert, Lester, Leonard and Orville Polzin and Cletus Fuenffinger; and a sister, Marcella (Polzin) Buhr.
Survivors include his brother, Dale (Clare) Polzin of Lamberton; brother-in-law, Dave Buhr of Blaine; sisters-in-law, Lucille Polzin of Windom, Elaine Polzin of Springfield and Lorraine Polzin of New Ulm.
