Rosalie "Rose" Crispin, 67, of Windom died April 8, 2019, at Windom Area Health, after battling ALS since 2017.
A memorial service was Tuesday at Lutheran Church of Our Savior in Windom with Pastor Paul Sajban officiating.
Music was provided by Ruth Wohlfeil, organist.
Honorary pallbearers were Austin Yonker, Braden Yonker, Paul Reinhardt, Pat Reinhardt, Harold Crispin and Mark Crispin.
Interment will be held at a later date.
LaCanne Family Funeral Service of Windom handled the funeral arrangements.
Rosalie "Rose" Vivian Gottschalk was born April 21, 1951, to Irvin and Alice (Dehne) Gottschalk in Fort Dodge, Iowa. She was baptized in Fort Dodge and later confirmed at Lutheran Church of Our Savior in Windom, after moving to rural Windom in 1959.
She attended country school before graduating from Windom High School in 1969.
In 1969, Rose married William "Bill" Crispin Jr. They were blessed with a daughter, Nicole.
Rose was a stay-at-home mom, then worked at Balzer's, where she was employed for almost 40 years. She retired in 2015.
Her grandsons were everything to her. She attended their sporting events, concerts and cattle shows. She also enjoyed gardening, canning vegetables from her garden and motorcycle trips around the United States.
She was preceded in death by her parents and parents-in-law.
Survivors include her husband of 49 years, William "Bill" Crispin Jr.; her daughter, Nicole (Edward II) Yonker of Bingham Lake; two grandsons; and two sisters, Jeanne (Charlie) Johnson of Deerwood and LaDonna Gersch of St. James.
