Nancy Rogers, 87, of Windom died Oct. 28, 2017, at her home in Windom.
Funeral services were Friday at Bethany Lutheran Church in rural Bergen with Pastor Gene Alms officiating.
Special music was provided by Carol Sandve, organist.
Casket bearers were Scott Rogers, Kevin Rogers, Roger Elzenga, Shaun Harrington and Jimi Wyrich.
Burial was at Bethany Lutheran Cemetery in rural Bergen.
LaCanne Family Funeral Service of Windom handled the funeral arrangements.
Nancy Jean Jacobsen was born Sept. 8, 1930, to Viggo and Sarah (Martyr) Jacobsen in Graettinger, Iowa.
In 1948, she married Clifford Rogers in Lake Benton, then moved to the Windom area. They were blessed with two sons, Scott and Kevin.
The family were members of Bethany Lutheran Church in rural Bergen, where Nancy was a member of Lydia Circle and played piano.
Over the years, Nancy worked at several places in Windom, including the Mileage Cafe, Coast-to-Coast, Morris Furniture, Home for Creative Living and as a paraprofessional at Winfair Elementary.
After Clifford's death in 1994, Nancy continued living in Windom where she volunteered with the Windom Area Chamber of Commerce and made and donated quilts.
In 2004, she was honored by the City of Windom with the Mayor's Medal of Honor for Services by the Elderly.
In addition to her husband Clifford, Nancy was preceded in death by three brothers: Richard, John and Michael Jacobsen.
Survivors include her two sons, Scott (Jane) Rogers of Strasburg, Colo.; and Kevin (Madonna) Rogers of Virginia Beach, Va.; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a brother and sister, Stan Jacobsen of Berkley, Calif., and Carol Dressen of Pipestone.
