May 2020 update
The Windoms May 2020 Update, the newest Windows feature update, started rolling out on May 27. The update build version number is 2004. No, this doesn't mean that your computer is updating or reverting back to 2004; this is just Microsoft's number layout for the update.
You may have already had the update to your computer, but most likely you have not gotten it yet. Microsoft usually rolls out its updates slowly, because if they find an issue during the update that didn't arise during testing, they want to limit the amount of bad updates that roll out to users. So, it may be awhile before you receive this update - but you will get it, eventually.
There are a lot of features added or removed in this update. Here are some of the important ones:
You now have more control over optional Windows Updates.
Disk Cleanup will not delete your Downloads folder.
There is a header with your account name and picture in the Windows Settings.
If you use Cortana, she is losing support for smart home skills.
There are many more changes with this update, but they're not anything that most home or business users will ever use. If you want to know more about this update, as far as what changes, feel free to give us a call. And, if you have problems with the update, let us know.
