5/20/2020 11:11:00 AM Working on getting back to 'normal'
It certainly has been an interesting last couple months, but now we're starting to get back to normal in our office. Over the last two months we have been trying to do most of our work remotely, or over the phone, and only looking at computers in person if it was absolutely necessary. While we would still like to do most of our work remotely, and over the phone, we are now opening our doors again and allowing people to bring in their computers or electronic devices when something is wrong. We would prefer if you would call us and give us a heads-up that you are coming in. We're still not allowing people into the office. We have a table at our door on which you may set your computer, then fill out one of our tags. We will begin this transition starting on Tuesday, May 26. At this time, we are still not doing house calls, but we will get back to doing those once we are more comfortable doing so. We also will start charging customers for any tech support phone calls. Starting May 26, we will have a $10 minimum charge for any tech support phone calls, excluding calls inquiring about purchasing our products. This charge will apply to any tech support-related calls of at least five minutes. Anything beyond that we will charge our usual rate of $20 for every 20 minutes. This also applies if you come to our office with questions. If you call us, we'll try to fix problems with you over the phone or through remote support. If we cannot repair the problem and need to see the machine in person, we will apply the phone call/remote support charge to your final billing.
