Concussion baseline testing underway

Athletes at Windom Area High School are required to complete a concussion baseline test prior to participation in activities.

The tests are valid for two years. All athletes new to the Windom athletics program are required to take one and all seventh-graders planning to participate are required to complete the test before participating. Because the tests are valid for two years, they are typically taken prior to 7th, 9th and 11th grades.

It is also recommended that any student who has sustained a concussion since their last baseline test retake the test.

Baseline testing is currently underway at the Windom Area High School computer lab and can be completed until 4 p.m. today.

Students unable to take the test today can contact Mr. Nielsen at 831-6910 to schedule a time to take the test.
