Section 3AA Tournament
The Windom Eagle golf team was shut out of the state qualifying spots Wednesday at the Section 3AA Tournament, played at Oakdale Golf Club near Buffalo Lake.

For the girls, Eagle senior Paige Pigman finished in a tie for 14th place, shooting a two-round total of 177. Pigman scored a 92 Wednesday to go with her first-round score of 85. Sophomore Lily Mellstrom placed 23rd, finishing with a score of 191. Mellstrom shot a second-day score of 97.

For the boys, senior Tylan Porath finished 20th with a two-round score of 164. Porath shot an 81 Wednesday. Junior Jackson Roll finished 36th, shooting a two-round score of 181. Roll finished with a 93 Wednesday.

Minnewaska/Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa won the girls team title with a two-day score of 663. Marshall placed second.

Jackson County Central rallied on the second day of the tourney to win the boys title with a score of 638. Marshall was second with a 644.
