Weather suspends Eagles, Trojans

Eagles, Trojans suspended
The Windom Eagle fastpitch team was locked in a tight battle with the Worthington Trojans Tuesday before Mother Nature intervened.

With the game tied 5-5 heading into the sixth inning, lightning caused a weather delay. The heavy rain shower and prolonged lightning that followed prompted the decision to suspend the game.

No determination has been made yet for when the game will be resumed.
