Patriots roll past Charger girls

HBC 40-25 = 65
WWG 12-11 = 23

Red Rock Conference-leading Hills-Beaver Creek dominated on defense Saturday, rolling to a 65-23 victory over Westbrook-Walnut Grove at Westbrook.

The Patriots held the Chargers to four made field goals for the game. WWG shot just seven percent from the field.

Grace Woelber led WWG with nine points, all from the free throw line.

RRC 30-29 = 59
SWC 37-29 = 66

Southwest Christian made a seven-point halftime lead stand Friday night, claiming a 66-59 victory over Red Rock Central at Edgerton.

SWC led 37-30 at halftime. RRC tried to battle back in the second half, but the Eagles sealed the game from the free throw line late, hitting 7-of-11 from the stripe late.

Haley Simonson led RRC with 20 points. Stephanie Amsden, Kaitlyn Rindfleisch, Karli Arkell and Vanessa Kedl each added eight points.
