Canby 18-17 = 35 Windom 25-23 = 48 The Windom Eagle girls basketball team picked up its fifth straight victory Friday night, shutting down Canby's offense for a 48-35 victory at the Windom Area High School Gold Gym.
The Eagles held the Lancers to 23 percent shooting for the game and held a 41-25 edge on the glass.
Delaney Smith led the Eagles with 13 points and 13 rebounds. Autumn Hauge added 11 points and 10 rebounds and Allison Letcher finished with 10 points.
WWG 12-14 = 26 Luverne 39-29 = 68 Westbrook-Walnut Grove struggled on offense and dug a deep hole Saturday, dropping a 68-26 decision at Luverne.
The Cardinals forced 31 Charger turnovers and raced to a 39-12 halftime lead. Meanwhile, the Cardinals held WWG to nine made field goals for the game.
Alli VandeKieft led WWG with seven points in the loss.
RCW 13-10 = 23 RRC 30-28 = 58 Red Rock Central had its second straight dominant defensive performance Friday night, stifling Renville County West for a 58-23 victory at Lamberton.
The Falcons recorded 19 steals as a team and held the Jaguars to 9-of-34 from the field for the game.
Meanwhile, RRC's offense had good balance, with eight players scoring in the first half and 11 players scoring in the game.
Haley Simonson led the balanced attack with 11 points. Karli Arkell added eight points and Cierra Gode and Kaitlyn Rindfleisch scored seven points each.
