Marshall 21-25-26-25 = 3

In a battle for first place in the Big South Conference West Division, Marshall was able to rally late in the third and fourth sets, defeating the Windom Eagles 3-1 in a tight match at Marshall.

Game scores were 21-25, 25-13, 26-24 and 25-23.

The rest of the match was back-and-forth again, with each team rallying to tie the score late in sets.

Windom held a 19-17 lead in the third set, but Marshall rallied to lead 21-19 before Windom tied the set at 23-23. Windom held off a set point at 24-23, but the Tigers closed out the set with a 26-24 win.

In the fourth set, Windom rallied from a deficit to tie the set at 19-19. The Eagles then rallied again, tying the set at 23-23 before the Tigers scored the final two points.

With the win, Marshall clinched no worse than a share of the BSC West Division title.
