Today is the deadline for reward-heavy lighting contest

The deadline has arrived, today, for the upcoming Windom Holiday Lights Contest which offers more than $3,700 in prize money.
The deadline was shifted to today, Friday. The contest is sponsored by the Convention and Visitor's Bureau and Windom Area Chamber of Commerce.
Anyone interested in signing up a home or business can leave their name, address and phone number at one of these spots: e-mail office@windomchamber.com; leave a voice mail at 831-2752, or 822-6291; text message at 507-822-6291; or leave a message through Windom Chamber Facebook.
