BREAKING: Mt. Lake Schools to transition to grades 9-12 distance learning

Mt. Lake Public School announced Thursday morning that it would be transitioning its grades 9-12 students to a distance learning model, beginning Nov. 30 through Dec. 11.

A letter stated that all students in the district will still attend school as scheduled on Nov. 23. The Thanksgiving break for the district will begin Nov. 24, with teachers having Nov. 24 and 25 to prepare to begin distance learning.

Beginning Nov. 30 through Dec. 11, students in grades 9-12 will be in a distance learning model. Students in grades PreK-8 will continue to attend school in person.

Students and parents will be e-mailed the district's distance learning plan, which will include how food service will work for students in the distance learning model.
