Crews hustle toward finish line on Mt. Lake's A&W restaurant

Excitement appears to be building locally as A&W's Nov. 2 opening day approaches.

Tom Handel, who oversee's the construction project, calls it a "mad dash" toward the finish line.

"We are right on schedule, we're in the home stretch," Handel said Monday.

Local owners Mike and Betty Adrian made the decision to go with a few add-ons that aren't seen in all A&W restaurants.

"We are happy with what we've seen," Mike Adrian said. "It's exciting."
