10/13/2020 4:30:00 PM Sons of Norway program to focus on Minnesota POW camps during WWII
Minnesota was home to POW camps during World War II, including several as close as New Ulm and Fairmont. Life and work in those camps will be the focus of a program presented by Colleen Gengler at the next Sons of Norway Stavanger Lodge 1-538 meeting Thursday at 7 p.m., at the Cottonwood County Historical Society, 812 4th Ave., in Windom.
Please note the time change.
Guests are always welcome at any Lodge meeting and may attend free of charge. However, due to COVID-19 restrictions, refreshments will not be served. Those attending are encouraged to bring their own beverage, if desired.
Social distancing and masks are required in the museum.
For more on the program planned, see the story in the Oct. 14 issue of the Cottonwood County Citizen on newsstands tomorrow.
