City officials to examine picnic tables
At the request of former Rod Byam, a former Windom City Council member, Windom Park Superintendent Brian Cooley told the city Park & Recreation Commission he is taking a close look at the city's picnic table inventory.
Cooley said the city currently has 82 wooden tables and 25 aluminum tables. Many of the wooden ones are in bad shape and need replacement, Cooley added.
"We will look at buying some new tables every year, so we can gradually update them," Cooley said.
