8/6/2020 8:19:00 AM BREAKING: Windom receives almost half-inch of rain
An early morning front moved through the Windom area bringing with it nearly a half-inch of rain.
According to the local weather reporter for the National Weather Service in Sioux Falls, Windom received .46 inches of rain early this morning, most falling before 6 a.m.
In addition, a check of the river level on the West Fork of the Des Moines River in Windom showed the river has dropped to 11.54 feet as of 7 a.m., today. That is the lowest level the river has been at since September of last year.
