Windom's back to school plan includes adding teachers
At Monday's work session, the Windom School Board addressed one likely area of need - additional staff.
Supt. Wayne Wormstadt said that in order for the district to successfully implement the state's hybrid model, which calls for classrooms to be at 50% capacity with social distancing, and to have as many students in school as possible, the district will need to add staff.
"We're going to need to hire up to three full-time teaching positions," Wormstadt said. "It's likely we also would need to add paraprofessionals, part-time custodians, especially for evening hours, and maybe additional food service staff."
