7/10/2020 5:00:00 PM Butterfield woman injured in Highway 60 crash
Shilo Ellen Linscheid, 42, of Butterfield was air-lifted to Mayo Clinic Hospital in Rochester with life-threatening injuries following a crash on Highway 60 in Blue Earth County Thursday at 6:53 p.m.
According to an incident report from the Minnesota State Patrol, Linscheid was driving a 2015 Hyundai Sonata, which was westbound on Highway 60. The vehicle left the roadway about four miles east of Madelia and crossed the median, colliding with a Buick Enclave that was traveling eastbound on Highway 60.
The Enclave was driven by 67-year-old Paul Harris of St. James, whose passenger was 63-year-old Susan Harris, also of St. James. Both were taken to Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Mankato with non-life threatening injruies.
All parties were wearing seat belts and alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
The Minnesota State Patrol was assisted by police departments from Madelia and Lake Crystal, Madelia fire and ambulance, Lake Crystal ambulance and Blue Earth County Mayo One Air.
