Council to discuss audit, electric rates tonight

The 2019 city audit and an electric rate study are among the agenda items for tonight's Windom city council meeting, which begins at 6:30 p.m. at city hall.

The meeting agenda also mentions the possibility of a rate increase in connection with the electric rate study. In addition, the council will discuss a recommendation from the liquor store commission and they will have their first officials discussion about Councilman Rod Byam's proposal to allow ducks, chickens, geese and pheasants to be raised in city limits.

Each day, there are updates at 8 a.m., noon and 5 p.m. at windomnews.com, plus additional "breaking news" items as they arise.
