County board addresses more issues for increased opening

Cottonwood County took another step toward further opening of county offices at Tuesday's special meeting of the county commissioners.

Emergency Manager Paul Johnson gave the board a detailed preparedness plan to comply with state and federal guidelines, addressing a number of issues related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The policy addresses hygiene and respiratory etiquette, controls for social distancing, cleaning and decontamination, identification and isolation of those possibly infected and communication and training of county staff.
