Windom Pool plans to open Saturday

The Windom Municipal Swimming Pool will officially open for the 2020 season Saturday, with open swimming hours from 2-5 p.m.

The pool has been closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, when Gov. Tim Walz and the Minnesota Department of Health loosened regulations to allow pools to open, work began to get the pool ready for the season.

The first session of swimming lessons at the pool will begin on July 6.

Season passes for the pool may be purchased on the City of Windom website.

The pool previously announced that it planned to remain open through Labor Day weekend.
