Three new COVID-19 cases pushes county's total to 130
Cottonwood County hit 130 lab-confirmed cases of COVID-19 with three new cases reported in Friday's Minnesota Department of Health update.
Des Moines Valley Health and Human Services reports the ages of the newest patients are 27, 31 and 66. Eight of the county's cases are considered active, within a minimum 10-day isolation period.
Jackson County reports no new cases of the virus, with its total sitting at 53 cases. Three cases are considered active.
Regional totals for the virus include:
Nobles County: 1,643 cases, 6 deaths.
Watonwan County: 186 cases.
Martin County: 151 cases, 5 deaths.
Murray County: 47 cases.
Brown County: 23 cases, 2 deaths.
Redwood County: 14 cases.
Statewide numbers include:
Overall cases: 34,616.
Overall deaths: 1,411.
Deaths in long-term care or assisted living: 1,112.
Health-care workers diagnosed: 3,525.
Overall hospitalized: 3,966.
Currently hospitalized: 335.
Currently in ICU: 157.
Overall patients recovered: 30,008.
Overall tests completed in state: 557,278.
