BREAKING: Mt. Lake's Pow Wow has been canceled

The annual Mt. Lake Pow Wow has officially been canceled by the Mt. Lake Chamber of Commerce.

Rob Anderson, Mt. Lake Community Development Director, informed Citizen Online of the decision this afternoon. A few weeks ago, the Chamber announced Pow Wow would not occur in June, but could still happen later in the year.

Today, Anderson said there's a chance that a few of the traditional Pow Wow events could become a part of other community events. That has not yet been determined, however.

For more on this story, see the June 3 Mt. Lake-Butterfield Observer/Advocate.
