Three file for Dist. 22 Senate seat held by Bill Weber

The pace of local filing has picked up in the past couple of days.

Today, a three-person race emerged for the District 22 senate seat currently held by Republican Bill Weber of Luverne. If the list of candidates holds, the district is virtually guaranteed to have a senator from Luverne. All three of the current senate candidates hail from Luverne.

The others are Shawna Marshall and Brian Abrahamson of the Grassroots-Legalize Cannabis party.

As of this afternoon, no one had filed for the three available Cottonwood Soil and Water Conservation District seats - districts 2, 4 and 5.
