Windom Area Health seeks PPE from other sources
On the front lines of the COVID-19 crisis, medical and emergency services are feeling a bit of a pinch.
Statewide, supplies of personal protective equipment (PPE) are depleted. Important equipment like N-95 masks, ventilators and even simple hand sanitizer are in short supply.
At Windom Area Health, the status of PPE availability isn't dire. But the facility is taking the steps necessary to secure protective gear and hand sanitizer from non-traditional sources.
"So far, our status for supplies is good and our orders for most things are still coming in," WAH Materials Manager Jeanna LaCanne said.
