4/9/2020 11:03:00 AM BREAKING: COVID-19 cases remain at five in Cottonwood County
The number of confirmed positive COVID-19 cases in Cottonwood County remains at five, based on the latest update from the Minnesota Department of Health.
Regionally, the numbers remained stable based on the daily MDH release. There were seven confirmed cases in Brown County, four in Watonwan County and one each in Jackson, Redwood and Murray counties. Martin County reported 35 cases and four deaths.
Statewide, there are 1,242 confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 with 50 deaths. There have been 293 cases requiring hospitalization, with 145 currently hospitalized and 63 currently in intensive care. There are 675 cases that no longer require self-isolation.
