In early days of session, Hamilton looks to secure more tax relief

As the Minnesota House of Representatives move through the early phases of the 2020 legislative session, Rep. Rod Hamilton of Mt. Lake has tax relief on his mind.

"Even though it is not a budget year, lawmakers will have to come to some conclusions on how to allocate a projected $1.3 billion budget surplus," Hamilton said. "I believe we need to find more ways to provide tax relief to working families and senior citizens."

For updates on the state legislative session, see future editions of the Cottonwood County Citizen and Citizen eEdition.
