Secretary of State issues ballot report for primary

Interest is growing for the upcoming Minnesota primary, according to the office of the Minnesota Secretary of State.

According to the report, at least 57,273 absentee ballots had been requested as of Friday. That total includes 49,434 Democratic and 7,818 Republican ballots. Meanwhile, 25,459 ballots had been accepted as of Friday.
