Windom school board approves adding three full-time positions

In a special meeting Feb. 3, the Windom school board approved adding a total of 3.1 full-time equivalent positions for the 2020-21 school year.

The price tag for the new positions, plus Mac Books and iPads for six staff members, is estimated at about $324,500. However, according to Superintendent Wayne Wormstadt, the district may need to dip into its general fund to cover just $7,700 of that cost.

For much more on this story, see the Feb. 12 Cottonwood County Citizen and Citizen eEdition.
