Windom police canine assists with local arrest
It appears Windom's police canine, Bruno, played a key role in what could have been a dangerous arrest, Sunday night.
At 9:30 p.m., police received word of a 911 hang-up call. The caller allegedly fled the apartment after being attacked by someone with a knife.
According to the report, the presence of Bruno helped officers convince the suspect, who was barricaded in the apartment, to come out peacefully.
