Windomnet General Manager Jeff Dahna announced this morning that a connection issue that arose yesterday has been solved.
The affected circuit was restored at 8:22 p.m. last night, after the Zayo fiber optic cable repair was completed, according to Dahna. He added that there was evidence that Internet traffic was starting to shift back to Minneapolis and local Minneapolis TV stations signals were coming into the system again.
According to the report fiber was struck by Rochester Utility Department staff while putting poles in place. The underground fiber was repaired.
