Rep. Hamilton expresses frustration with Democrats, Walz

With just days remaining in session, State Representative Rod Hamilton (R-Mountain Lake) said there has been little movement toward agreements on overall budget targets.

In a press release issued by Hamilton's office today, Hamilton complained that, "House Democrats and Governor Walz have not compromised one penny from their proposed $12 billion in tax increases."

"The voters of Minnesota sent us divided government. Through that, there are clear differences on how to craft a budget. Now it's time to show a willingness to work together on common sense solutions."

The session is scheduled to end May 20.
