Commissioners to discuss wetland, wind tower applications

At their regular meeting this morning, Cottonwood County Commissioners expect to consider applications for a wetland plan and also a Jeffers wind tower delineation.

The board received an application from Mark Evers for a replacement plan to buy 1.62 acres of wetland banking credits, allowing him to fill 1.62 acres of wetland. The site involves Evers' property in the rural Comfrey area.

Today's county commissioner meeting begins at 9 a.m. in the Cottonwood County Courthouse.

For much more on today's commissioner meeting see the March 20 Cottonwood County Citizen and Citizen eEdition.
