City official asks motorists to show caution as crews fill potholes
City crews will be busy filling potholes today and Windom Street Superintendent Brian Cooley adds that it is a time for motorists to be cautious.
"There are some (potholes) on the Square, downtown, so be mindful of the workers and give them space to work," Cooley said.
Cooley added that motorists should also should slow down when they see potholes. Some of them are very deep and could cause damage to vehicles.
In addition, Cooley said crews will be in the Red Leaf Court and 18th Avenue areas today, opening culverts to assist with drainage. For much more on this story, see the March 20 Cottonwood County Citizen and Citizen eEdition.
