2/8/2019 8:48:00 AM No travel advisories have been lifted
The Minnesota Department of Transportation announced this morning that the no travel advisories that had been implemented last night due to blizzard conditions in the region have been lifted as of 8 a.m. today.
MnDOT reports that all major roads in Cottonwood County are in fair winter driving condition with the possibility of areas of compacted snow or ice on the roadways. Roadways are still slippery in some locations. However, winds in the region have subsided and crews have been working to clear drifts and open roads since early this morning.
There are currently no accidents or lane closures reported in Cottonwood County or through much of Southwest Minnesota.
