Santa's Workshop for Kids open Saturday morning at Winfair

Santa's Workshop for Kids will be open for business Saturday, from 9 a.m. to noon, at the Winfair Elementary School Cafeteria, 1545 6th Ave., in Windom.

The shopping event is sponsored by Windom area Girl Scouts Troop 34164 with support from local businesses.

All proceeds will be given to local charities to assist local youth in need.

What is Santa's Workshop for Kids?

Children may come to the cafeteria on Saturday and shop for Christmas gifts for their family, friends, teachers - for whoever they need a Christmas gift. There also will be crafts to make and purchase for gifts.

All gifts are $5 or less, however, the Scouts are asking for cash only.

For more information, see the story on the Area Faces page in the Dec. 5 issue of the Cottonwood County Citizen on newsstands tomorrow.
