KYLIE NORELL of Windom holds the third-place award she received at the American Chiropractic Associations National Sports Symposium over the weekend.
Kylie (Willard) Norell, a 2012 graduate of Windom Area High School and a student at Northwestern Health Sciences University, College of Chiropractic in Bloomington, received third place in the American Chiropractic Association Council of Sport Injury and Physical Fitness annual Hyde Poster competition.
The honor, which she received over the weekend, came with a $500 scholarship and a trophy.
The student poster research contest, open to all chiropractic students across the nation, was held at the ACA National Sports Symposium. Norell's project, which she has been working on for quite some time, was titled "A Review of Chiropractic Treatment for Pediatrics and Adolescents."
Students in the contest present their research posters to doctors attending the symposium, who then judge the projects.
