Lots of food and tours return to the Windom Emergency Services Facility on Sunday as the Windom Fire Department hosts its annual open house for Fire Prevention Week, Oct. 8-14.
The event runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Windom Emergency Services Facility, which opened in August. Tours will be led by Windom firefighters.
Fire trucks, ambulances and a variety of equipment will be on display in the new ESF building.
In addition, guests can enjoy a pulled pork sandwich meal that also includes chips, a cookie and beverage. There will be a freewill donation with proceeds going toward the cost of a memorial wall in front of the building.
