First a first-ever, drive-thru Borscht Supper and now an online Benefit Auction for the first time. Mt. Lake Christian is definitely adapting to the times.
Indeed, MLC moved its annual Benefit Auction - subtitled "Bidding For Kingdom Impact" - to an online format in 2020, helping to prevent community spread of COVID-19.
The site is live for the public to take a look at the items on the auction block for 2020. In addition, bidders can watch a video tutorial on the school's website, www.gomlc.org, (see link below) to help them prepare to bid during this year's auction and answer any questions.
Online bidding begins tomorrow (Saturday) at 9 a.m., and will run through 8:30 p.m., Nov. 29.
For more on the auction, see the story on the Faith & Family page in the Nov. 18 issue of the Cottonwood County Citizen on newsstands now.
Watch www.windomnews.com for regular weekday updates at 8 a.m./noon/5 p.m., plus BREAKING stories at other times during the day and on weekends. Follow CoCoCitizen@CitPub on Twitter.
