Four Windom city, school seats have no candidates

The first week of filing for city and school offices is ending rather quietly, it seems.

Carol Goeman, an incumbent, has filed for Jeffers City Council.

Meanwhile, few names popped up for Windom city and school board seats. Four available seats have no candidates.

As of 4 p.m., only mayor Dominic Jones had filed on the city side, leaving no candidates for Ward 1 and 2 seats.

Meanwhile, the school board had four available seats. And, as of this afternoon, only Joe LaCanne and Dustin Stevens had filed for office.

For more on area filing, watch windomnews.com and see the July 29 Cottonwood County Citizen and Citizen eEdition.
