6/29/2020 1:16:00 PM Cottonwood County sees one new COVID-19 cases; Watonwan County hits 200 cases
Cottonwood County's running total of COVID-19 cases climbed to 132 in Monday's Minnesota Department of Health update, with one new case reported in the past 24 hours.
Des Moines Valley Health and Human Services reports the newest patient is 42 years old. DVHHS reported that seven of the 132 cases are considered active, within a minimum 10-day isolation period. There have been no new hospitalizations in Cottonwood County.
Jackson County's total number of cases went up one over the weekend, with no new cases Monday. Jackson County currently has 54 cases, with the one new case considered active. Jackson County also had its first hospitalization for the virus, but does not currently have any patients hospitalized for the virus.
